Black Friday Sits a Little Different This Year.
It’s that time of year. We start realizing how close it is to Christmas…and start looking for Black Friday Deals. Will we stand in line? Will we shop on line? Ship to store? Ship to home? Ship to recipient? The whole process is a little overwhelming. Long gone are the days of making a careful list of items and stores to hit…if you plan to shop in public, you basically have to plan one one or two, and hope for rest. I’m very curious about what the crowds will be like this year…that will say a great deal about the true mentality and focus of our country, won’t it? The GIFs and images of Black Friday from past years just make me anxious!
Truth be told, I’m hoping that folks have learned that there many things more important than being first in line. That said, I’m already being bombarded with adverstisements. EVERYWHERE. I still remember, though I can’t remember what year it was, how sad I thought it was that ‘Black Friday’ had moved to Thursday. Thanksgiving Day. The day we are supposed to be spending with our families. I was so thrilled to learn that our company had made the call to save our Black Friday Deals for Friday. Why? Because I actually do like my family. Will we be together? At this point, I’m not even sure what the plan in is. Seems like everyone has different opinions and advice on what we should be doing this year. And things continue to change and develop overnight. I know what I WON’T be doing…and that’s working. And I also won’t be hoping that my customers are actually shopping my site on Thanksgiving. I’ll just hope that they are spending the day surrounded by people that they love. And that is a tremendous blessing. sr
I sent an email out this morning to start prepping my customers for Black Friday. If you’re not on that list, you’ll want to head over to bit.ly/blackfridaydeals2020 , and enter that giveaway. This will ensure that you receive all the emails!
Here’s what went out today…I look so forward to helping you fill your list!
How will be doing your Black Friday Shopping this year?
Much Love to you and yours!
