I did it live…on Facebook….

Why? Why would I do such a thing? Well, my hair is really long…and I need a trim…but I don’t really want to book a salon appointment right now…and even if I did, I’m probably going to have to wait a couple of weeks…

That’s ok, she’s worth the wait! But, in the meantime, as I grow out all of the color, I have a few frayed and split ends..and they need to go! 

My mother and grandmother would cut my bangs when I was a child…sometimes that went well, sometimes, not so much…

I used to cut my children’s hair…no problem! Until the reached that age…where if I actually screwed that up…they might care…I have no formal training…and thought I don’t feel like I ever really made a mess of things, it was always nice to get them trimmed & cleaned professionally…

Reasons why you might want to cut your own?
– Just need a tiny trim
– Save money
– Save time
– It’s kinda fun…and freeing…
– You just need this one…little Snip…

Pro Tip: If you are daring enough to give yourself bangs, leave them MUCH longer than you think you want them! TRUST ME! They’ll shrink up…and you can always trim a little more later….
