Here are the steps, because bacon doesn’t require a backstory:

1. Line a cookie sheet with foil. Like as much as you bear to waste. Cover all the edges. Overlap the gaps.
2. Arrange bacon in a basket weave pattern.
3. Turn on oven to 350 and put the bacon in.
4. Reread step three. Notice that it is step 3, not step one. Not preheat your oven.
5. Bake for approx 30 minutes, or until absolutely perfect, at your discretion.
6. Make the best BLT you’ve ever had.
