If you’re a tween/teen reading this post – PLEASE read through the tips at the end of this post and make sure that you’re getting hands on help from an adult! All the posts and videos in the world can’t teach how using heat tools feels and functions in real life! I am not a professional stylist. I am just a mom with many years of experience and learning.

The details of how our afternoon looked: She had a basketball game at 4, and a dance at 5! How are we supposed to pull THAT off? They were only about thirty minutes late for the dance. (full product link at end of post)

Are Gig Jobs Worth the Wear & Tear on Your Car?

A few years ago, I jumped on the opportunity to make a little extra money for my family by deliverying groceries for Shipt. With great pay, and very little competition for orders in my area, it was great! Over time, of course, membership grew and with that came more shoppers, more competition for orders, and as we all know by now, lower pay per order. I have also dabbled in other on-demand gigs like Lyft, Uber, Instacart, and Takl. So, let’s look at the current climate and briefly look at whether or not RIGHT NOW is the time to sign up for Shipt or other on-demand gig apps that involve you delivering goods in your personal vehicle. There are a couple of questions you need to ask yourself, and in my opinion, I think you’ll come to a pretty cut and dry yes or no answer without having to even do any math.

Simple DIY Disney Marathon Hair Clip Tutorial

I had this idea a few weeks ago, but since I’m not a runner…I had no idea when the actual marathon was…sooo…I found out that it’s REALLY soon! I’m going to tell you how to create a custom hair accessory for the Disney Marathon in less than five minutes…even if you aren’t attending. And you don’t even have to be crafty, y’all!

The 2022 Disney Marathon is January 6-9 at Walt Disney World in Florida. Although all of the in person events are sold out, they are holding virtual marathons you can participate in this year!

Even if you aren’t participating in Disney’s events – for whatever reason, you can still be part of the fun with your local running group or online running teams. I don’t know anything about all of that, so if you have any thoughts or advice for my readers, feel free to add them to the comments. Now, let’s get on to your HAIR….

Something in Red

I’ve missed you all so very much. Writing to you…whoever actually reads this is who ‘you’ are…we’ll talk more about where I’ve been soon – hopefully on Monday. I wouldn’t count on it thought…given my track record over the past few weeks. I saved that for a draft post and already typed the first paragraph, so that’s a start right? I knew it was time get back over here, though, because I keep finding myself writing little miniature blog posts on Poshmark listings…and I’m pretty darn sure that’s not what people go to Poshmark for 🤣.

Where I realized there was a problem was this: I began sort of organizing my Poshmark Closet into visual categories...and so I'd add a little quip, sometimes personal, sometimes about the category or fashion in general in the listing. And then I got the Dresses Category and, well...I wanted to write an essay on a song about dresses. Hang with me for a paragraph or two, and we'll get there.

it’s a listing, not an essay, I kept telling myself…

I’ll be honest…when I was first introduced the idea of the Word of the Year…I thought it was a little silly. But, as I am typing…11 days away from 2022…I’m EXCITED about what the year will bring. They only thing sad about it is that I kind of want to keep my 2021 word for a bit longer. That’s the beautiful thing…your words never really go away. I have not written or read any fancy books about the word of the year, but I wanted to pop on and tell you to GO AHEAD and start thinking about your word!
