Vinted Go Partnership – Let’s Go or Heck No?

We’ve tested the Vinted Go Partnership for you…here are the results.

As of the writing of this post, I am two months into my partnership with Vinted Go. I went with a little blindly without much information…there’s just not much out there other than the basic information Vinted offers. I certainly could not find any reviews. To be honest, I barely knew what the Vinted Pre-loved Marketplace was about, if the platform was going to be successful, and definitely didn’t know if it would be a hit in our little pocket of Sumner County, Tennessee. I hope this feedback helps you to make an informed decision.

I knew Vinted is a buying and selling platform. The idea was that the partnership could bring two benefits: extra foot traffic from the right demographic to my store, and some additional income…nailed it.

What I didn’t know was if it would overly complicate or disrupt our day. Also, there was no way to guess what the actual income would net. I took the leap anyway.

So, here’s how it works: First, When you buy something on Vinted, you may given the option to have your item shipped via SpeedX Courier. This means that the seller will drop the item off at my store, I will scan it and a courier will pick it up and send your treasure on its way to you. Second, your item can land at my store as its final destination where you pick it up.

What is SpeedX? It’s basically a final mile delivery service…utilized by companies like Amazon, Vinted, and even TikTok. Our couriers pick up once a day, and drop off randomly as needed.

You may have already seen some ads or even read the information page that Vinted has available…but you still have questions?

Here’s what you came here to find out:

  1. Yes, you will get paid to be a Vinted Go Partner and you won’t even have to think about it.
  2. Yes, Customer Service is available to you and easy to reach.
  3. We’ve had one ‘outage’ in two months. We simply ran our packages to another local shop that offers Vinted Go. Alternatively, we could have held the packages until the next day and they would have been fine…we chose above and behind because we would be closed for two days and wanted the packages to keep moving through the system and get scanned.
  4. Our Vinted Go package count doubled in month two without any effort on our part. You are paid per package.
  5. You will want storage space for the packages near the door/register in an out of the way location (preferably in a back room). Not so much for the incoming packages – those are simple to manage…but to make it efficient for your SpeedX courier to scan and get back on the road as quickly as possible.
  6. You will want to be available to your SpeedX courier in case of any issues. These are few and far between and easily resolved. Generally, they will do their thing and be on their way with little interaction from you.
  7. Sellers dropping off packages will have questions. These are easy to answer. Everyone has been very gracious and fun to get to know. If you don’t know the answer, you will have a number to general support and your own Vinted Go representative. You will often see the same people every day!
  8. The scanner is simple to use. Though I would change a couple of the basic functions to make it faster and smoother for multiple packages, I have no complaints. The device is very intuitive and user friendly. Pick ups and drop off are generally smooth and easy. We spend more time chatting than scanning, for sure!
  9. You will receive clear and simple instructions with your supplies and in emails…just follow these as they come..set up is short, sweet, and to the point!
  10. There are no fees or hidden costs. Vinted will send you everything you need: scanner & charger, bags, labels to print shipping labels for customer if they bring you a QR code. The only thing that might be useful in a storage bin. AND – they will send more supplies as needed: all you need to do is request them

The bottom line? Go for it…it’s a one year buy in. We’ve all know fast a year goes. After that, it’s a month to month commitment.

I hope this sets your mind at ease if you’ve been considering becoming a Vinted Go Partner. Whether you’re looking to add more income, more foot traffic, or both to your retail location, this is a win win!

The Vinted Pre-Loved Marketplace is catching on QUICKLY with individuals clearing out personal items as well as with resellers…you will want to jump on this quickly before the market is saturated and sellers are accustomed to going elsewhere with their packages!
