Gallatin, TN Thrift Shopping

These are in order of proximity to my store, and how they’ll map for you when you leave us! There are many other shops in the Gallatin Square, but I haven’t been there yet! I hope to visit more stores soon so that I can add more options to this list.
- The Mildly Obsessed Market – 1033 S Water Ave, Gallatin, TN (That’s me) This is local thrift and vintage shop where you’ll walk through what appears to be a small shop and be surprised to find over 3000 square feet of…well…everything. Collectibles, china, glassware, media, books, clothing, furniture, toys, memorabilia, jewelry, crafts, accessories, housewares, small appliances, electronics, light fixtures, hardware, holidays, home goods, linens…you name it…we might have it on any given day of the week!
- Pickled Treats & Antiques– Just take all my money. I wan’t to take home probably 60% of what I spot every time I walk in this store. Y’all – it so beautiful and has such incredible things! The prices are incredible! Just be sure to check this one out. You will love it!!! You’ll find so much variety and sure find a treasure – and, yes, pickles! What’s not to love?
- Earth First Vintage – When I first moved to Gallatin, I saw this place with it’s big beautiful corner windows…I phoned a friend and said…‘Ma’am. There’s a plant store. LIKE A PLANT STORE THAT’S NOT A CHAIN. A REAL PLANT STORE.’ Giddiness. Y’all. We went for a plant…one side of the store is a plant store…so, success, obviously. We left with a bag full of vintage and antique GREATNESS. Don’t miss this stop!
- Towne Square Comics – I’m not going to admit to you how much money my daughter & I have spent at this store. If you’re in to comics, vinyl, posters, collectible action figures, pop cultureetc, you really don’t want to miss this stop. THOUSANDS of comics. THOUSANDS!
- Kwik Kash Pawn – YES, I am sending you to a pawn shop. This one is special – it’s not your average pawn shop. You’ll see when you walk in! The retroness of it. The leather of it. The media. The EVERYTHING. Did I mention the owners and staff are amazing??? SO incredible. Just do it.
- Habitat for Humanity ReStore – Y’all know what this is – you know what’s there! This is, in my option, a ‘smaller’ Habitat store…but they get some SERIOUS treasures now and then!!! So, if you can pop in it might be worth your time!
- Gallatin Cares – I haven’t actually been here yet, but I hear really amazing things! This is our local non-profit Thrift store and they do incredible things for the community. You’ll find clothing, furniture, household items, and so much more. I’ll update you when I actually make it in the store.
Please check in to our digital guest book if you visited our store, or leave a quick note on Google Maps. In fact, do this for all the stores! Your reviews make a big difference!
This is absolutely not an all inclusive list! There are MANY beautiful shops in Gallatin and in the Gallatin Square. I am just not yet familiar with all of them! My best advice in Gallatin is take the time to park and explore the square after visiting all the shops on the outskirts. We love the Honey Rock Books & Cafe and Mable’s Dining Room for lunch! And, of course, there is a Goodwill in Gallatin. There are also a several great stores in surrounding Lebanon, Portland, and Hendersonville. More coming on those. If you have a favorite spot to visit, please let me know in the comments.
Much Love to you and yours!
