Memorial Day is a federal holiday in the United States for honoring and mourning military personnel who gave their lives serving our nation.

If you have lost a service member, I’d love to know and to honor them.  Please comment with a little information about them.  I’ll share this in a new post on Monday (with your permission) with a link to your blog. If you’d rather me not share it publicly, that’s ok! Just let me know. I would still love to hear your story. 

This is also a weekend where we typically get together with family and friends. I know that many areas are beginning to loosen guidelines and ‘reopen.’  I hope that you are able to spend some time with your loved ones, even if you need to keep a little extra distance.  I know I am missing all the sweet hugs from family and friends, and hope to embrace those again soon.
