This is the thing you need for your new puppy that you never knew existed.

No, really. It’s portable. It’s Legit. It’s Useful. It’s affordable. It’s Luna approved. IT’S AMAZING!

I didn’t know this thing existed until about a month ago when my friend got two new puppies…it’s been a lifesaver for her. So, of course, I had actually seen it person…and new it was sturdy and legit. Here are her sweet babies:

So, what it is? Well, I call it a playpen. My son calls it a kennel. On Amazon, it’s listed as a ‘Zampa Portable Foldable Pet playpen Exercise Pen Kennel + Carrying Case for Larges Dogs Small Puppies/Cats | Indoor/Outdoor Use | Water Resistant‘. Because, you know, we want to get all the words in the title. Bless. I’d hate to be competing for my spot on Amazon’s algorithm. This is why I like sharing with you really cool things I find!

Call it whatever the heck you want. Before you click over to check it out, the one thing that I missed when we ordered…and that made me ECSTATIC when it arrived? It has a TOP a zippered top! Be sure to watch the demo video on Amazon all the way to the end to see that in action. I thought we’d only get like, maybe 3-4 months use out of it for our new lab puppy (see adorable video below), BUT, that top, makes all the difference.

We weren’t really interested in crate training, just not really necessary for our family/home/situation, so this is a perfect solution for us. For now, sweet Luna can’t get out by herself unless we unzip the built in doors for her. And, when she’s a bit older, if we NEED to contain her, we can zip her fully in. And, with so much sturdy mesh, she’ll be able to see everything around her.

Y’all, this thing is SO EASY to set up and take down. We’re moving it upstairs to the bedroom at night, and keeping it downstairs during the day for now. At some point, it will likely just stay downstairs, and then when it’s no longer needed, we will fold into the handy carrying case and store in case of another puppy in our future, or visitors.

I could actually lay down and sleep in this thing. Curled up, but I could. I don’t intend to. But I could. The image you see below with my 14 year old son it it, actually makes it look smaller than it is.

Plus, there was the added bonus of the happy surprise of this arriving the day after we ordered rather than 3-4 days later when we expected it.

Ok, there is our puppy distraction for the week! We’ll, hopefully, get back to normal tomorrow. Precious Luna was not planned for, but she sort of came ‘out of the blue’, and here she is. We are over the moon in love with her, and I will, of course, be sharing more of her adventures.
